December 2, 1931

Messrs. Hirshbach & Smith,
2 Stone Street,
New York City.

Dear Sirs:

[[underline]] Attention of Mr. Herzog [[/underline]]

Referring to our letter of December first in regard to the shipment of a marble bust to the Royal Academy of Arts in London, we received a request that the bill of lading should be made out to the order of - Van Oppen - which name we understand from you is - Van Oppen & Co., and is then to be forwarded to them care of the Cunard Steamship Co. at Southhampton by the same steamer.

This is in confirmation of our telephone conversation of this morning.

Very truly yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.,
