[[double-underlined]]U. S. Department of Agriculture[[/double-underlined]], Washington, D.C. 709 specimens, about 378 different species, domesticated races, and hybrids, all mounted, except one skin. The collection of the different races of poultry is especially interesting and valuable, and will add an attractive feature to the Exhibition Series of the museum. Some of the [[underlined]]Phasianidae[[/underlined]] are new to the collection, and, consequently, very welcome. A great number of the birds are common North American species, part of which originally were furnished from the Duplicate Series of the museums. Of the Pheasants the following species may be especially mentioned: [[underlined]]Argusianus giganteus[[/underlined]]; [[underlined]]Phasianus mongolicus[[/underlined]], [[underlined]]reevesi[[/underlined]], [[underlined]]wallichii[[/underlined]]; [[underlined]]Euplocomus swinhoei[[/underlined]], [[underlined]]erythrophthalmus[[/underlined]], [[underlined]]pucrasii[[/underlined]]; [[underlined]]Crossoptilon auritum[[/underlined]]; [[underlined]]Tragopan melanocephala[[/underlined]]. - [[underlined]]Leipoa ocellata[[/underlined]] should also be mentioned.

[[double-underlined]]Harry C. Benton[[/double-underlined]], Lieut., Ft. Huachuca, Ariz. - A male specimen of [[underlined]]Sialia azurea[[/underlined]]. This form has only recently been recorded from Arizona, and the specimen presented is the first one from
