[[underlined]] Prof. A. Dugés, [[/underlined]] Guanajuato, Mexico.- 24 specimens, 20 species, of Mexican birds, among which may be mentioned two specimens of [[underlined]] Buteo albicaudatus [[/underlined]], and one of [[underlined]] Megascops trichopsis [[/underlined]].

[[underlined]] Tokio Educational Museum [[/underlined]], Tokio, Japan. 155 specimens, 107 species, all from Japan. This collection is especially valuable on account of the care with which the specimens are prepared, sexed and labelled. It also contains several species new to the collection of the Museum, besides three species new to the Japanese avifauna, and two species new to science. Many of the species in this collection were not hitherto represented in our museum by Japanese specimens. All-
