Mexico, a species of which the Museum as yet possesses no complete specimen, the above head being the first fragment of this magnificent bird to reach the Museum.

[[underlined]] U.S. Fish Commission [[/underlined]]. 108 specimens, 10 species of Water-birds from the coasts of Massachusetts and from the Newfoundland Banks, collected by the naturalists at Wood's Holl and on board the "Albatross" and the "Grampus". The collection is very valuable and interesting containing, as it does, a series of 44 specimens of [[underlined]] Puffinus borealis [[/underlined]] (which was only described a few years ago and up to date
