[[underline]] J. Schneck. [[/underline]] Mt Carmel, Ill. A live Barred owl. ([[underline]] Syrnium nebulosum) [[/underline]]

[[underline]] L. Stejneger, [[/underline]] Washington D.C. - 40 specimens, 17 species, from Kamtschatka. This is a valuable addition to our collection of Kamtschatkan birds adding several species not hitherto possessed by the museum. Among these is
