[[double underlined]] Wm. Brewster [[/double underlined]] , Cambridge, Mass., 94 specimens, 25 species, all collected by Mr. M. A. Frazar in lower California. This collection is an extremely interesting accession containing, as it does, large series of well prepared specimens of many rare species; thus for instance, 6 specimens of [[underlined]]Merula confinis; [[/underlined]] 12 specimens of [[underlined]] Geothlypis beldingi; [[/underlined]] 5 specimens of [[underlined]] Basilinna xantusi; [[/underlined]] and 13 specimens of [[underlined]] Columba fasciata vioscac, [[/underlined]] recently described by Mr. Brewster. [[double underlined]] Amos W. Butler, [[/double underlined]] Brockville, Ind., 3 specimens, 3 species, from Mexico and Jamaica, one being an authentic specimen of [[underlined]] Ammodramus brunnescens [[/underlined]] recently described by Mr. Butler. (Gift).

[[double underlined]] C.W. Chamberlain, [[/double underlined]] Boston, Mass., 20 specimens, 2 species, from Gurnet Beach, Mass., viz. 14 Ispwich Sparrows ([[underlined]] Ammodramus princeps[[/underlined]]), and 6 Horned Larks 9[[underlined]] Octoris alpestris [[/underlined]] ). (Exchange).
