I have the honor to submit herewith a report on work done during the month of May, 1889, in the Department of Birds.

The principal accessions during May were as follows:- * [[checkmark]]

[[underlined]]Tiflis Museum of Natural History,[[/underlined]] Tiflis, Transcaspia. — 133 specimens, 107 species, from Transcaspia. A very important collection, being the first received
