The Dr. has been extremely kind, in furnishing us with assistance, books, localities for collection, and many other things , and I do not wish to do any thing in a under hand way. Of course this is an extremely exceptional case, and they were given with the proviso that no publishing was to be done on them. I thought I had some sort of right to do it, as I have furnished toward the outfit some twenty dollars out of my own private purse.
