I have but six.

I have about as much as I can do just now and probably shall have for sometime. I have not been idle this winter a day.

I have no idea where I shall go, or how soon. I will do my best (which I fear will be very little) with the birds if I can't get Henry Elliott.

I have heard only once from Chicago since I left. I don't know what they are doing or will do. but saw Marcy of Evanston Hts who is come out as geologist to the proposed road from Columbia R. to Montana. he gave me some idea of their movements.

Bob's friend Olga, has met with a severe accident but is much better. I have been quite at home there, this winter.

With regards to all at the Ints

I remain very truly yours

P.S. Can't you do something for Canfield
send him a good barometer, or his missing P.R.R. Reps. He is very melancholic and may still be of service to the S.I.
