Col. B. has been extremely liberal and generous in his approval of my requisitions. Duplicates of all bills receipts, orders, memoranda &c I have on file. Your friend Geo. Walker, as well as Dr. Stimpson (for whom there is more excuse) left unanswered my letters for over four months although they were prepared with the greatest care; and Mr Walkers contained about 25 pps of writing.
