An unfortunate letter of mine, (written under ample provocation however, in regard to a project favored by Mr. Walker, of moving the Academy out of town, in diametric opposition to your wishes, as expressed to me;) roused him to write me a letter, doubtless as hasty as as [[sic]] mine was, upon the principle; to parody Bulwer,
