to me, then this delay is unpardonable -

Be all that as it may the final aspect of affairs is not so bad. - Col Bulkley is a wonderfully strong and determined man and keeps a good grip on the whole affair.  I feel sure that he has not had a fair chance given him by the Directors

In Mr JH. Wade, Col Stager Mr Saml Wilder and some others of the Directors I think I have some good friends. Collins will naturally hate me, but he has no strength. I of course wish to keep all the influence I have with the Directors - But I have been unwilling to write them from here because my letters 6 [[insertion]] of this date [[/insertion]] must show that [[strikethrough]] Bulkley [[/strikethrough]] I have not Col Bulkleys confidence as much as I had theirs and of course I cannot say anything to them that would look like complaint - Yours R.
