Wright. My party and outfit are behind on the Golden Gate (Barque) which may be in in a day or two or may not be here for ten days. Col. Bulkley will probably leave with the steamer tonight or tomorrow to examine Grantly Harbor ^[[on amer side]] and Gulf of St Lawrence on asiatic side of Bherings Straits - he will then probably go to [[?anadyr]] bay and thence to San Francisco. If the Barque arrives soon enough I ^[[probably]] shall with the small steamer and some of my party push up the Kvihpak
