573 [[underlined]] Grus americanus [[/underlined]]  [[male symbol]] Ft Resolution, May 30 Iris light yellowish grey. Bill green throughout darkest about the middle. This specimen, though very lean, weighed 14 pounds. Some of the wing coverts tipped with bright reddish brown. K.

574 [[underlined]] Grus canadensis [[/underlined]]  [[male symbol]] This specimen, (a lean one,) weighed 6 lbs. Iris yellow, much darker than in [[underlined]] G. Americanus [[/underlined]]. Bill blk except sides of lower mandible which are green, lower edge of upper mandible toward tip is green. Ft Res. May 30. K.

575 [[underlined]] Grus canadensis [[/underlined]]  [[male symbol]] Ft Resolution, May 30. Specimen quite fat, weight 8 1/2 lbs. Iris ^[[light]] yellow. Bill dark horn color, greenish on sides of lower mandible, and anterior part of upper. These two specimens seem quite small for [[underlined]] Canadensis [[/underlined]] K.
