It is estimated that the following complement of flight equipment would be required by this school.

1. Single-engine training planes - 10
2. Two-engine transition planes - 10
3. Four-engine transition planes - 20
4. Instrument practice airplanes - 20
5. Navigation practice airplanes - 10

VI. [[underlined]] Instructors required [[/underlined]]

Instructors for the first phase, that is, individual training, must be qualified specialists in their subjects with experience in teaching.  However, instructors in phase two should be practical men, such a specialist in his own department but not necessarily with any great amount of teaching experience.  The function of the instructors in the second phase will be principally to correct the mistakes of his workmen in a civilian organization  The exact number of instructors required can only be determined by a more detailed survey.

Approximate instructor requirements for the subjects of the first phase are as follows:

A. Twin-engine flying - 10
B. Four-engine flying - 10
C. Navigation ground study - 4
D. Navigation flight practice - 10
E. Meteorology - 8
F. Various mechanical subjects - 15
G. Radio - 5
H. Clerical subjects, including cipher - 5
I. Cooking and related subjects - 3
J. Automotive subjects - 3
K. Military subjects (bombsight repair, etc.) - 3
L. Miscellaneous subjects - 10   93
