Fell and Col. Clarke entertaining Col Jack Gibson and Col Dan Callahan of A.S.C.- Got definite feeling of coldness. - Could not talk to Fell or Clarke. [[underline]]Feb. 3-44 Chabua [[/underline]] Visited Sector H.Q. - Col. Fell says no soap on enlisted promotions until more grades received from Wing- Col. Clarke thinks enroute procedure good. But he objected at first to numbering system. Finally agreed except for briefing manual. He thinks it should be separate. Told him about my airplane - He had a fit. Told me to turn it into Misamari. Use transition airplanes for standardization
