Had pilots in class for instruction. Did not get any of smart aleck or critical attitude others have found.


DON't Know whether this is an advantage of a disadvantage. Makes teaching easier, but I wonder whether the people will learn as much.

Talked with White and DePaul. Appointed White Adjutant. He will take care of office management, etc. Hope that improves the organization. Looks OK.

Long talk with Merkel on Standard Tech Procedures in general and maintenance ones in particular. He seemed to grasp the idea and is going to work on an index of Maintenance procedures.

Got out monthly activity reports for January and February.
