SUBJECT: Wing Training Officer.

TO : Commanding General, India China Wing, Air Transport Command, APO 885.

1. Western Sector Headquarters has been notified that another class consisting of eleven (11) officers has been graduated from the Check-Pilots and Instructors School at Gaya. This class has completed all ground school work plus flying time in C-46 type airplane, including day and night time check-outs.

2. Too much credit cannot be given Colonel Mountain and his staff, who have made this course possible. Without this training many serious accidents would be anticipated due to the total unfamiliarity of pilots, co-pilots and engineering personnel in this Sector with the C-46 type airplane.

3. It is requested that your headquarters consider Colonel Mountain for commendation, promotion, or both.

K. C. McGREGOR,
Colonel, Air Corps,
Commanding.
