A standard list of questions and answers to be used in ground instructions on C-47 aircraft is included in the manual.

Information on maximum endurance and maximum range at various gross weights on the C-47 is included in Standard Procedure Number 60-02-18.

Other general information of value to the pilots, concerning the fuel system and hydraulic system has been included in the 65 series.

As you know, our program at the Chief Pilot's Meeting included of a thorough instrument hood check of each Chief Pilot and Assistant, and the issuance of an instrument card, based on flight checks. All flight checks were conducted by either Major Davidson, or myself. Other specific items which were accomplished at/or immediately, subsequent to the meeting were:

1. The installation of an instrument flying hood in each airplane assigned.

2. The issuance of instructions to all Stations in the Western Sector, to install without delay an adequate station altimeter in each control tower. It was found out at the meeting that control tower operators were calling the Weather Station for altimeter settings and several instances of erroneous settings were sighted by the pilots in attendance.

Standard 1st-down through procedures were adapted for the following stations and have already been published by the Sector Operations - Karachi, Jodphur, Delhi, Agra, Gaya, Ondal, Calcutta and Lalmanirhat. 

One airplane, C-47 type, has been assigned to each station chief pilot for use in instruction and training. The definite assignment of a
