SUBJECT: Pilot Training Program

TO: Commanding Officers, All Stations, Western Sector, India China Wing, Air Transport Command.

1. This headquarters recently received from one of the stations in the Western Sector, a narrative report on the progress of the present Pilot Training Program. This report indicated that a considerable amount of thought and effort had been devoted to the new program, and included such items as number of training hours flown in the transition ship in the past month, number of pilots and co-pilots undergoing training, and a general discussion of the Ground School and Link Trainer Program.

2. It is not the intent of this headquarters to burden Commanding Officers with additional required reports, however, informative letters of this nature are always welcome. The information contained in the reference letter has been passed on to the Wing Training Officer, Headquarters, Station 1, ICWATC, APO 885.
