Sir,

I have the honor to communicate the following Resolution of the Executive Committee of the U.S. Centennial Commission:-

"That it is deemed impossible to discharge judges until the awards shall have been finally made by the Centennial Commission but leaves of absence may be granted by the Director General on the recommendation of the Chief of the Bureau of Awards."
