I have the honor to request instructions in the case of Danl L. Russell he has Evaded the Guard and told them that the Boy Remus was not on his Plantation it may be that the Boy has been Stolen as there has been two of the others Stolen within the Last two weeks. if you will give me the authority and furnish Transportation I will Arrest him and Take him to Wilmington and confine him untill he is willing to return the the Boy
