Accordingly, it is proposed that the sections relating to the Advisory Board and the surveys of sites be repealed; and that the study center, the transfer of objects, and the authorization of appropriations remain in effect.

In order to do this, Mr. Brown proposes to call a meeting of the Advisory Board to obtain its view of this proposed action. It is proposed further that the section authorizing appointments to the Board by the President be repealed, and that the views of the President through the Office of Management and Budget be obtained.

If the Board of Regents concurs, a meeting of the National Armed Forces Museum Advisory Board will be called and action taken as set forth above and purposed legislation submitted to the Congress.

The Board of Regents had no objection.
