Construction work is almost completed on the Beaver Valley exhibit ($4,763,000 estimated cost to date) which includes exhibit facilities for beaver, otters, wolves, seals and sea lions. Work had been delayed because of technical problems with glass production for underwater viewing, and the total project is now expected to be completed by the end of December 1978.

Installation of new water lines between the NZP Conservation and Research Center and the City of Front Royal is scheduled to be complete and operational by the end of this year. This is the first step by the Center in a long-range program to comply with the Federal Clean Water Act, and the next phase will provide for sanitary sewer lines during FY 1979.
