Mr. ^[[Joseph H. Fetszer]] is hereby appointed a ^[[Clerk]] in the Bureau of Refugees, Freedman, and Abandoned Lands, ^[[State of North Carolina]] at salary of ^[[one hundred dollars]] per month.

This appointment is made under the provision of "An Act to continue in  force and amend an Act to establish a Bureau for the relief of Freedmen and Refugees, and for other proposes." It will take effect ^[[July 1, 1867]] and remain in force until revoked by order from this office.  

The oath required by law will be taken, and filed in the office of the ?.  Commissioner of the ^[[State of N. Carolina]].
