Referring to your endorsement of date Sept 3d 1867, forwarding approved, communication of Rev. F. A. Fiske, State Sup. Education, requesting transportation for Ellen Swinburn and Sarah Ann Dixon, Teachers; - You are respectfully informed that, upon application of M. E. Shearman, Actuary Friends' Freedmens's Association, dated Philadelphia, August 21st 1867, transportation was duly issued for the Teachers, and forwarded to Mr. Shearman, August 27 1867.
