Know all men by these presents that I Wm A Lane of the County of Culpeper for and in consideration of the sum of ninety five pounds to me in hand paid the receipts whereof I do hereby acknowledge have sold & by these presents do convey unto John Rouzie of the County of Essex a negro man named Isaac bout the age of forty two years and the said Wm A Lane for himself his heirs Exon & admos doth covenant & agree to and with the said John Rouzie his heirs or assigns that he will forever warrant & defend the title of the said negro against the claim of all & every person whatever claiming the same as witness my hand & seal this 24 day of Oct. 1810
