Nice but warm
Boys worked corn ground. I ironed and got dinner took care of biddies.  Baked a strawberry pie.  Made potato salad for supper.  Cleaned pantry some

Nice still warm
Went in town to take cream get some screen wire baked a rhubarb pie the best I ever made.  Fixed screen Cleaned out baby chick house want to get ready to paint tomorrow.  C.F. planted some corn got rained out.

To wet to work in ground.  Painted guest room floor.  got along pretty good Clarence helped me.  I also washed in forenoon as we were all soaked the eve before.

Still to wet to work in field.  Dad and HA came out to get tractor. they can plow.  C.F. took it out   I went out after him we stayed till evening.  Herman has a nice bunch of chicks.
