Cleaned pantry some [[preprinted]] Wed. 24 [[/preprinted]] Nice still warm Went in town to take cream get some screen wire baked a rhubarb pie the best I ever made. Fixed screen Cleaned out baby chick house want to get ready to paint tomorrow. C.F. planted some corn got rained out. I also washed in forenoon as we were all soaked the eve before. [[preprinted]] Fri. 26 [[/preprinted]] Still to wet to work in field. Dad and HA came out to get tractor. they can plow. C.F. took it out I went out after him we stayed till evening. Herman has a nice bunch of chicks.
