Ironed, about all forenoon. Mabel Helen, Gwynn and I went up to Russels Point. Went to Orchard Island and watched them skate. Also went out home CF had made arrangements to make Ice Cream
Kitchens said they might be up but we did not leave until 8. But they came after I suppose they mad again

Fair & hot.
Did up morning work then planted 49 or 50 hills of melons 
Also planted a row in garden of chicory, parsley, chard, lettuce and celeraic and something else I don't know the name of it. I varnished the buffet and table this P.M. painted the cistern pump, and outside of sink.
