Called down home. intended to go down but Clarence wanted to shred corn So of course I gave up going. I had a big ironing, but finally finished
did the mending and put the clothes away. Also baked a cake to take to the Aid. Don't know [[?]]

Aid day at Abbies
want to go Florence Drake ^[[Krouse]] is going with me. Have lots to do first but can't get started.
Florence and I had a dandy time. I enjoyed it very much Came home went after C.J. & kids 
then Mrs. Tucker called and we went to Rushylvania,
got ourselves into some work.
