Did my mending and put clothes away. Clarence decided to increase the mortgage a little until our crops are raised this year. Dear, I hope we don't lose out this year on crops. If we have the weather we stand in good prospect to make some money.

Hurried around and got ready to go to Mrs Weymouth's dinner party for Mary Emery. She (Mrs W.) has a lovely home just as cozy as can be. Mildred Yoder went with us. Margaret stayed with her Dad and he took her for her dancing lesson. Richard went with me.
