I did up the rest of ironing and put the clothes away. Did some of the mending. In P.M. we got in a [[underlined]]big[[/underlined]] load of hay. I dug some potatoes they are not so good or bad either.

Sold $59.53 worth of Barley 118+ bu.

Want to wash my hair this A.M. and have to go up town to select Dicks picture. must get Margaret a pair of white shoes before her lesson. Of course go over the house. Gwynn is going to help with the other Scouts to gather up the aluminum for Defense work.
