AIR MAIL
Domestic Air Mail postage rate is 6c for each ounce or fraction thereof, regardless of distance or routing. This figure includes all transportation to and from the various routes. All Air Mail may be sent Special Delivery.

Weight limit 70 lbs. and size 100 inches in length and girth combined.

In order that Air Mail may be quickly recognized and identified the P. O. Department urges the use of distinctive Air Mail stamps, and distinctive Air Mail envelopes (with horizontal red white and blue stripes or alternate red, white and blue parallelogram borders) or similarly striped labels.

If ordinary envelops are used, it is recommended that two horizontal blue lines be drawn across the envelope, not less than 1 1/8 inch from the top. Envelopes must be prominently marked "VIA AIR MAIL"; parcels, in addition, must be sealed, although the latter may be sent as Insured or C. O.
