Did up chores Took care of stock Then Richard & I went in town got 1 pr of gloves. Sent out Ins. Went to see new baby. He [[insertion]] ^ is [[/insertion]] little but nice. We decided to go down home to visit the folks. Lloyd Mr. D. Mr. Grey. Harners and Olive went us. Our National News was that F.D.R. & W.C. were meeting in Casablanca Africa for war meeting.

Beautiful Day. Cold. tho.
Had intended to go down home but went last night instead. So will be home all day. Want to write a letter to Thelma. Also send in the Council report. Also want to take a nap. Olive and I went to Bingo. She won a dollar and I .50 cents we each had to split or she would have 2.00 and me $1.00
