Have lots to do. Must dress a chicken for Mrs Lowe. Also a gal of sorghum. C.F. helping Guy Rostofer pick corn. Peg and I went to see This is the Army.

Went to S.S. & Church. There were 12 besides the minister Mr. Binkly. I liked him. Went down to Harners Mama came with us.

Did not wash. It was so cold and rainy looking. I cleaned out the closet at the Landing. Then mother cooked a pumpkin. Then I baked 2 pies & a gingerbread. Mended some hose.
