Clarence finally got the tractor repaired $44.+. Boy we have spent over $100 on it this spring. Got some yardage of batiste today. Also got Dick a slack suit. Got myself a water bucket, 2 pitchers. Mabel called but we do not have any cool yet so I put them off until later. It rained in A.M. but cleared and was nice ^[[& I]] went to S.S. They had childrens day exercises. When we got home Mabel was talking to Clarence and was coming out. She brought 4 pairs of work shoes. C.F. & F. G. bought 3 for $6.50. They stayed until 11:00. Had a nice time. We played a little Pinochle.
