Cloudy, wet. None of us earned our salt. Did some mending Clarence and I went in town in P.M. We finally found lumber for the barn doors. So will get them tomorrow. Mother on a tiff I guess just characteristic of older people. We surely have had our share. I am supposed to [[strikethrough]] talk [[strikethrough]] take all slams furnish all the living and forget everything [[underlined]] etc [[/underlined]] and give half crops and pay rent besides.

Finally got the clothes dry and I ironed them from the line. Did some mending. Mended 4 pairs of overalls.
