We did up the work while kids went to S.S. we loafed all day. Thought we would have some rum but Venus did feel like it. Sis called and did not like it too well that Mother went to Pa.

Am not washing this A.M. Want to can some tomatoes and sew some. Made a little butter. Got 6 qts of tomatoes. Got some peaches in town. Canned 3 qts. Then 3 qts of butter and some for desert. The old Depot burned.
