We rendered the gut & leaf lard in a skillet. Did some washing, mending Olive was here awhile also.
This P.M. Mother and I went in to show. "The Chase" wake up and dream John Payne, June Haver Charlotte Greenwood.

I surely am sorry to hear that. I felt so sorry for Aunt Ella and Uncle Harry.

Did some mending and fixed my hat. I guess we are going to see Roy graduate. The time seemed so long when he started but now its over. 
Mother got a letter from Margaret Fritz and she said Uncle Kellar had had a heart attack and was very ill. I called to tell Herbert and he said Homer, Dorrie, and Ethel Barlup were here. Homer said Alman had cancer.
