Mabel called she could not get her car started So I took her, Frankie and Dean Godwin down to school. Will have to go after Mabel at noon. Will go to Grange and work to get ready for the carpenter to fix the ceiling. Did not take so long. Mama had the grapes pulled from the stems so [[this part was placed on the preceding page]] I made some grape butter. Also heated my maple syrup and canned it.
