Academy Meets and Decides to Attend Funeral Tomorrow Afternoon.

A grand tribute was paid to the memory of Dr. Samuel Boyce Craton by fellow practitioners at a special meeting of the Syracuse Academy of Medicine, held yesterday afternoon. Drs. T. H. Halsted, H. L. Elsner, E. J. Wynkoop and D. H. Murray made brief remarks in which they told what his loss meant to the community as a physician, surgeon and friend.

Following the talks a committee, composed of Drs. Frederick Flaherty, A. E. Larkin and T. G. Lewis, was chosen to draw up a resolution. It was decided that the members of the Academy and the Onondaga County Medical society meet at the home of Dr. Halsted in Dewitt street at 2:15 o'clock to-morrow afternoon for the purpose of attending the funeral.

The service will be conducted at the late home, No. 326 Highland avenue, at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. John H. Applebee, pastor of the May Memorial church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
