Erie car now leaves on the 10:40 instead of the 9:15. So went to the engine dispatchers office & spent a half hour talking to Clem Billairs, gave him an instruction book for Fred Chillington, saw #29 came in on time for the first time in a week because Swartz had just come back from vacation & then to bed.

Didn't get home till after 11 AM so stayed till after lunch. Roger has been upset in the tummy & Dr. McCullum says his diet is wrong - not enough vegetables as we told him. So he is manfully struggling to eat properly, & get rid of his boils, etc. Willie is better but worried about Rog, of course. Bab OK. except for a little asthma. The Shanty Shane colored film was back & we showed it this evening. Rosalind, Barbara & Marion Lamborn being in for bridge. They were enthused & we certainly were as it was well nigh perfect - only wish now I'd taken another reel.
Got a new slant on Postelthwaite. Rosalind revealed that his wife died of epilepsy, had had it always and he didn't know it until after they were married. That evidently was the cause of all their trouble and his reputed unfaithfulness. They had talked of divorce just a short while before she died. Isn't it a good example of why you should look for the best in people and make allowances for their apparent faults. I see him in an entirely new light now.
This morning, caught this d- "Bobby" living in the Van Raes old house, leading Harold & Davey Miller into Roger's tent. While he was telling me he hadn't taken anything, he had Rog's arrow quiver right on him & I didn't see it!
Special note: Peter Masiroff is among the missing!
