They have multiple unit control also, which will be all worked out prior to my B&M order - if and when we get it. I don't see how they can afford to turn it down personally.
Babbie's fever and sore throat are gone today and she should be back to school tomorrow.
"Doc" Gillilan and Maurice are having the devil's own time landing the Ford order. It seems Mr. Ford Sr. thinks we are "price fixers" and even Curly, out there Friday, failed to do any good. Now Westinghouse is in the picture through Lima and Cooper-Bessemer, etc. etc. and it is one sweet hell of a mess! "Doc" says he wishes I had the job back again, says it's no glory job - just a pain in the neck.

Today was one of those rare days when suddenly most of your current worries suddenly seem to dissolve into nothing and you feel like getting drunk to celebrate.

1.) King called me at the office this morning and said the house we want in Kahkwa is $70.00 but if we take it [[underlined]] at once [/underlined]] we can have it for $65.00. So I lined in to "Cash" again, told him my predicament, and he advised me to take it - said he was in N.Y. yesterday and was pretty sure one of the other candidates would be chosen - Scott & Zimmer had made up their minds and simply need Barne's approval.
