Had a session with Mark Hanna, Pitchard, Webb Adyelott, Lamborn and Ben Luther today on the 6000 volt DC for the Russians and managed to wangle enough comments to start a memorandum. Have yet to hear from Linebaugh on "bottle" comments to finish my part of the job. Don Macleod is doing the distribution end of it.

Am the new Chairman of the Erie Section of the AIEE.

Got some engine outlines from H.D. Church today and as John Downie says, "I'm not an engine expert, but it looks a little on the hairbrained side." However, it may be our salvation in the end. So best of luck to it.

Merriman finished with me today and I had quite a talk with him about Bab. He says it may be a two years job to straighten her teeth but it will work wonders for her and I think he's right. He will recommend the man to do it "confidentially" which will be a help.

Worked on the 6000 volt memo about all day, getting considerable satisfaction therefrom.

Tonight we are preparing for our trip to Syracuse tomorrow afternoon, so I am cutting this short.
