repaired about midnight to Bitsy's apartment up on Union St. near the college. There things began to calm down but we finally went out into the backy and where there was much facetious baying at the moon until at last the party broke up about 1:30 AM. It was quite a memorable evening for sheer good natured hell raising and I think it did me good to get it well out of my system. I've wanted to do something like that for a long time and now it's done, and no harm done either. The evening had its high spots such as when Bitsy wanted to slide down the brass rail on the Van Curler steps and Doc Gillilan was among the group on the steps at the time. And Joe's proferred desire to Miss Shiloh which he never accomplished although he made great effort. And when the lights in Joe's room mysteriously went out and no one could find the switch to turn them on again. And when Bitsy told me all about her troubles with her reckless driving boy friend. Saw Mac, Joe and Blakeslee having breakfast together this morning and learned later that Blakeslee was on to all that occurred in his room last night and it was quite funny.
