As for initiative, I can only be honest with myself and say there is room for improvement. However, when I get serious about it. I can come through. For example I can name a few outstanding items as illustrative:

1)The way I took hold of the original Ford 1000 HP proposition and entirely on my own initiative prepared freehand perspective drawings to sell the beautification scheme to Ford. The success of that effort has been well attested by Kellogg's remarks to Andrew, Kellogg's keeping the original enlargement in color under his glass desk top - repeat order for 6 more units.

2.) My 43 ton campaign on the B&M which grew out of the big Alco study and was originated and conducted single handed by me, and my hammering for 43 tonnes for the railroads, now really blossoming.
