In the operation of this plane, American Airlines has left nothing to chance or imagination.

Our present flight has been carefully planned in advance . . . based on up-to-the minute information on weather and other flight conditions. The Flight Plan has been recorded at the airports of departure and destination--and at all intermediate ports.

We are in constant radio telephone communication with our Flight Supervision at these airports--and with our reporting stations en route. Our weather information is constantly checked and renewed--and our course is continually verified by instruments and Radio Directional Beam reception. Four separate Radio Installations provide ample facilities for radio Navigation and Communication.

We are traveling at a rate and an altitude predetermined for this stage of our flight. This information is known to other aircraft operators on our course. And we know, at all times, the position of other aircraft. Any variation in this plan is instantly recorded by our ground stations and transmitted to all planes in the area.

We trust that you are enjoying your flight.
