Had a very successful day with the children. Bab pitched in like a little trooper, helped me get breakfast, washed the dishes all by herself, and was much help. Shopping all the morning. Rog to a birthday party this afternoon. Bab & I took a ride with the top down and later we all went to the Den for dinner - and was I a proud Papa with them. An evening at home.

We were disappointed to have a cloudy day so up went the top again. Had some trouble with Bab this morning - her nose itching and running, and then she spilled a half glass of orange juice all over herself at breakfast - cried and cried. But later we got calmed down and went off to the Peninsula for a picnic and a hike in the woods. Dinner at Pulaker and then to the station to meet a very tanned "Mommy" from her ride to L'ville. We were all glad to see her - after all a home isn't much of a place without one. Presents for everyone including Mommy on account of this is Mother's Day and a happy reunion all around. Willie reported a grand trip and all that but she was glad to get back. She doesn't like to be away from the children very long.
