Got a message from Horn this morning that Capt. Cummings will stop here next Tuesday to review our new tank suggestions with us. Had a long session again with the Motor Boys and they are going to make a mock-up of the front of the tank for Tuesday to show the Captain in three dimensions what we can do and attempt to show the 37mm AA guns can be fired in spite of the motors in the front end. Also we are going to give him a diesel-electric demonstration with the New York Central locomotive, Ken Wolf agreeing. Unfortunately the boys discovered that the template of the traction motor that we gave to Capt. Cummings and the one he used in his layout was 6" too short! They think they can do it but it is discouraging to battle for 6" and then be back where you started!
