Dear Mr. Leger:

We are in receipt of your letter of November 30th enclosing check on the Guaranty Trust Co. of New York in the sum of $350. being in settlement of your debit account with us.

On the other hand, we beg to enclose herein check on The Fifth Avenue Bank of New York in the sum of $20.00 (twenty dollars) being refund of part of outside commission deducted from your share of the selling proceeds of the painting "Etude pour Les Plongeurs sur fond jaune", in accordance with our letter of November 24th, 1944.

By reason of this remittance, the commission in question is now supported between us in equal shares; i.e., $60. by yourself and $60. by this firm.

As agreed, we shall bill you in due course for one-half of the cost of the frame which we ordered for the above painting.
